This Guinand (the second watch brand founded by Helmut Sinn) is a nice and credible hommage to the iconic Heuer Bundeswehr chronograph, but with modern components (automatic movement, sapphire, 200 meters tightness).

Thanks for bringing this up - have not seen one in ages (neither the watch nor the F-104) 👌🏻👍🏻 What’s the movement in this one? As for F-104 suitable watches, the P15 would definitely fit, for the Italian versions 😁

A friend of me still has one in his backyard. And another good friend to my parents his two sons flew one in our Airforce, I still remember the 8mm videos they shot of each other. I still remember taking mine up to over 100,000 feet .. but then I woke up ;-) Bim

About the G being the main safety risk one - the others had a decent record and were for a short time even very successfully used in Vietnam. Wasn’t it you who wrote about FJ Strauß packing so many things into the requirements for the G, going way beyond what the platform was capable of, which led to the sorry reputation in Germany?
