I did not realise how much blue there is in Piaget's history.

Why do you think blue is so prevalent in the watch industry?

damjan, Are you a polo fan-boy? By that I mean a fan of the game with the ponies. The Piaget Polo FortyFive Chronograph Marcos Heguy Edition is marked Handicap 10 because of his 10-goal handicap. That means that any team that he plays for is immediately minus 10 goals! They have to score 10 goals just to get to zero. We have to use the full name Piaget Polo FortyFive because Piaget does not own the copyright on the word 'polo' :-) The original posting is here (click link): amp;ti=604636 Thank to

just don't really like the word "automatique" but it's just a detail. Cheers, Francois

sandgroper, Some of us discussed the words "automatic" on the dial before. In general, most Swiss brands print "Automatic" on the dial for automatic movements; I'm not sure if its a "requirement". The main discussion point was the length of the phrase on the limited edition dial. Piaget had to have the full phrase because that was the raison d'etre of the Anniversary watch! They are proud of their world record in 1960 and re-establishing it in 2010. With or without the words would still receive
