The auction Only Watch 2013 raised just over 5 million Euro. Great result. [nt]

33 watches and 14 bottles of vintage champagne ...

but quite a few watches have been weak, compared to their estimation. Piaget, Altiplano Skeleton 1200S – € 40.000,- – € 60.000,- -> € 42.000 ,- I think this is quite good for what it is. Congrats to the new owner!

We can see it another way...

They ALL went for good prices. Let come back to reality. We cannot say that some have been weak when we see the prices they went for. Such a vague estimation, for the Piaget, for example, doesn't mean nothing: 40 to 60 000 Euros??? That only means that the guy who was in charge of the estimations did his job in a weird way. Is the Watch Worth 40 000 or 60 000? There is a too big difference, here. 42 000 Euros for a Piaget skeleton, or the results of the ither watches, I don't see this is a weak

Not very fan of the PVD case for such a dressy watch, BUT

What a dial!!! Superb. Best, Nicolas
