EDJA shares a deeply personal account of his long-awaited trip to Geneva to acquire a Patek Philippe World Timer, capturing the emotional journey of a collector. His narrative, filled with anticipation and joy, culminates in the acquisition of his dream watch and a reunion with another cherished Patek Philippe.

Dear friends, I have not been here for a long time due some personal family  reasons but today I have a strong reason to share with you some photos from my short trip to Geneva which I was waiting for a long time... How long? 1 year, but it's was very long year...
Long story short, here how it was...

From Moscow to Geneva - 3.5 hours of pleasant flight with glass of champaign, to be honest with many glasses of champaignsmile

The weather was great and walk from hotel to Patek Philippe salon was very short and breathtaking

Just a few meters before the doors, I  have stopped and smoked one cigarette to cherish the moment and to remember that feeling.

I don't think that you need my comments about following photos.

Still in its cradle and waiting for her owner

Finally we are togethersmile

Met her old brother, my first Patek who just came back from the spa.

I wish you all the same joy and feelings which I had and have now and hope that your dream watches will find you earlier than  you expect!!!
And I am happy to share with you my joy and my happiness - have a nice Sunday my dear friends and brothers in arms!
Regards,
Edward

Huge congratulations! Nice to see you here again. And I'm sure you had good reasons to sip a couple of glasses of champagne: waiting for your 5131 and flying with Aeroflot... Best regards from sunny Tallinn! Kari

EDJA Welcome HoMe to PuristSPro ! Congratulations on not one...but two of my favourite Patek Philippe watches. Really useful world timers. Now, I regret that I never got one when I was rich and famous......and travelling lots. I rely on 'brothers' like you to satisfy my soul. In your honour, I post my 2nd favourite Patek Philippe watch - a Russian Edition.

...such an important pick-up!! Hope you had more glasses of champagne after getting the "World" than on the plane ride over to Geneva. Enjoy as wearing the 5131 when traveling keeps long flights easier. Cheers, Gordon
