WatchProSite contributor jlc.thomsen shares an exciting new strap configuration for his Patek Philippe, sparking a discussion on how a simple change can dramatically alter a watch's aesthetic and wearability. His choice of a grey nubuck strap with a Calatrava clasp offers a fresh perspective on personalizing a classic timepiece, demonstrating the impact of thoughtful accessory pairings.

How do you feel about the more dressy deployant buckle in light of this change?
The color matches the dial quite well. What is it made of ?
Being myself in the market for a « dress down » strap for my 5110p, I hope you don’t get offended if I use your pictures for inspiration.

I do love the PP tang buckle. Stylish and subtle. Cheers, John
