Incredibly, this magnificent early white gold Patek Philippe watch was originally purchased from Canadian retailer Henry Birks & Sons as an amazing gift to a local church priest from his very generous congregation!

The back engraving says: "To Father J.A. Foucher, Parish Priest, Homage from his parishioners, Notre Dame du S. Rosaire, October 16, 1928"

Notre Dame du S. Rosaire (Our Lady of the Holy Rosary) is a small town in Montmagny Regional County Municipality within the Chaudière-Appalaches region of Quebec, Canada.

The rectangular tank-like case, the art deco luminous numerals and luminous cathedral hands, everything is simply exquisite.

Not to mention the beautiful crown.

A similar, smaller cased example but with matching dial, was included in the 1989, “The Art of Patek PhilippeAntiquorum sale held in conjunction with the brand.
