In this engaging post, joenghenry shares a glimpse into his family's summer retreat to Macao, capturing the essence of a luxury vacation. Beyond the picturesque scenery and family moments, Henry's choice of wristwear, a Patek Philippe Nautilus Ref. 5740/1G, sparks a lively discussion among collectors about the practicalities of high-end timepieces in aquatic environments. As my daughter just came back from boarding school, our family had a short break at the nearby Macao. Wonderful weather, resort and food. Creating fond memories for the family 🥰.

Wish all members a great summer vacation too!

Best, Henry

Glad to see that you're fully enjoying your Nautilus 😉 By the way, are you comfortable swimming with it? It is only rated 60m, right? I was never confident to do it with my 5712, although I would love to (I would then take it on vacation more often, missing it right now... hehehe).

I swim, snorkel, shower, and do cannonballs in another 60m watch not named Patek and I've never had a problem with it.
