I tried one a week or so ago. Great size, fit and design.
Tried both the salmon and the blue in my AD couple months ago, they are really great. This black one looks superb though, so chic.
How many different straps do you have for your 5172 ?
Original strap is calfskin but easy dusting and tear off I order 4 new straps to try -Delugs (Alligator) -Visconti Milano (Alligator) -Camille Fourteen (Calfskin) -Patek’strap (Alligator) The winner is Patek, and the rest ranking are accordingly Camille, Visconti , Delugs. Unfortunately I order all in Navy blue not different colors as wish to get exact comparisons
...I think it will fit, but with its classic look I would prefer that it was a bit smaller.
I love the 5170 but wish they made it in J with leaf hands. It's a totally different 'look.'
