Emmanuel, known as quattro on WatchProSite, initiates a compelling discussion on the Patek Philippe Perpetual Calendar ref. 5327. His detailed visual breakdown of the yellow, rose, and white gold variants, coupled with his candid observation that the reference doesn't receive the adoration it seemingly deserves, invites the community to explore the nuances of its design and market perception. This article synthesizes the collective insights, offering a comprehensive look at a modern Patek Philippe Perpetual Calendar.

The Breguet Classique reference 5327 represents the Date Moonphase series within the model range, distinguished by its combination of calendar and lunar phase complications. This reference positions itself as a dress watch offering within the Classique lineup, incorporating both practical and astronomical display functions.
The watch features a 39mm case constructed from 18k white gold, fitted with a sapphire crystal and fixed bezel configuration. The silver dial houses the date and moonphase displays, while an automatic movement provides the mechanical foundation. Water resistance extends to 30 meters, suitable for daily wear scenarios.
This reference appeals to collectors seeking a complications-focused dress watch in precious metal construction. The 39mm case size accommodates contemporary sizing preferences while maintaining formal proportions. The white gold case material and silver dial combination creates a monochromatic aesthetic that suits both the Date Moonphase series identity and broader Classique collection positioning.
The WG version is my favorite current PP. wonder if they will make a p🤔
The pics sure make it look more like a 42/43mm than the 39mm advertised. As pictured, it almost looks too big and busy too quite work for me. I'm so close to loving it, but it's just off a little.
Whether one prefers the lacquered ivory dial or the charming blue, the Breguet numerals IMO bring this watch to the highest aesthetic level of current Patek perpetuals. And at 39mm, quite slim and housing the legendary 240Q movement, what’s there not to like about this watch, yet …. While it is unlikely I will ever own one, I would be quite happy to have one my wrist, in either the R or G version. Best, Patekova
Rose gold cream dial — that’s the quintessential Patek setup. In the long run the rose gold version will be my winner. Best Gatsby
It has full of Patek DNA, but no one looks at it… Shame!
the more I've been liking this model. Have a great weekend. Best, Emmanuel
