yes, a failure. Which angle is not important, the dial should be 100 percent and more perfect. I notice that to much watch lovers stare blind on Patek Philippe. If i was them, i should look at Vacheron Constantin. Developing an eye for perfection, i notice deviations on Girard Perregaux Richeville. Bad handled watches versus safe queen babied watches.
It is a matter of good eyes. A dial replacement is an option. With a special cloth, the hair scratch can be removed by a Patek certified watchmaker.

And to be honest it can happen to any watch and any brand…I would be happy if Patek changed the dial and service it free of cost… I’ve had issues with Vacheron Chrono in which the VC logo fell off inside the dial and with Ap Royal Oak perpetual and the list would go on …Iam easy and that’s what I told my friend
