Sadly, I don't get this "anticipation" feeling anymore... I have watches from 2019 that I haven't opened the boxes to. Yikes. And I don't think I've really worn many Pateks since June of last year when I brought one of my Pateks to Tokyo for the Patek Philippe exhibition. For my wife and I - a moment like this is the culmination of extreme sacrifice of several years. Zero restaurant outings, no take-out nor delivery food, no movie theaters, very few outings, one mini-vacation per year, etc. We've been happily operating on discipline mode. Kind of like a sport.
