Pure class. I donβt think itβs an age thing as I distinctly remember wanting a 5196 for a very long time. Just had so many other watches which always somehow got in the way. Wrongly so I may add. For me this is and will always be what Patek are about. M.
In technical horological terms this watch to me at least is very important. And being the first of the series and platinum is the icing on the cake. I believe there is a great article coming out in the next Patek magazine on the 5960. Maybe Geneva are also bemused as to why this watch has not hit cult status and is not coveted by the masses.
