We are Horology Ancienne (or HA); a father and son watch collecting duo. We have been lurking on here for an exceptionally long time. Checking WPS pretty much everyday. The passion in this forum is incredible as is the knowledge shared. It is a genuine delight to see so many deeply enthusiastic about their collections. I suppose it is probably criminal how long I’ve been lurking without posting! For a long time we preferred to remain private about our collection until two years ago we decided to set up an Instagram account. Eventually, much to our delight, some of you reposted a few of our Instagram posts on here. After connecting with GLau, we were persuaded to finally join this treasure of a community. A special thank you to GLau for all of his efforts. Following his reposting of some of our write ups, we were honoured and deeply grateful to see all the kind comments. A hearty thank you to all of you.

We were a little hesitant coming here only because Instagram has become so time consuming. But given how vital WPS has been in assisting to quench our horological thirst, it was only naturally we ended up here. Thankfully, we are not restricted by the harsh word count of instagram meaning that we can post our full write ups in full on WPS. I look forward to engaging with all of you on all things horological. I figured the best way to start should be with one of our favourite watches. A special dial 5970!
