Launched in 1961 and in production until the early 1980s, the ref. 3445 was the first serially produced Patek Philippe self-winding, waterproof watch with a date.

The 35 mm watch was indeed powered by Patek's new and first serially produced automatic movement with a date, caliber 27-460.

Here's a random selection of several variants of this beautiful reference with a date window at 3 o'clock.

For further, more in-depth information, please read Tania Edwards' article on Collectability.

Best, Emmanuel

I rarely comment on dress watches but this one stopped me still. Everything is harmonious, a very, very elegant watch. Thank you Emmanuel for these gems. Regards Kurt.

My personal favorite is the WG with the blue dial, but the YG example is stunning as well!

But I think my favorites would be the 2 first in the thread: yg/champagne and wg/silver. Best, Emmanuel

The date window on the 3445 is unique. The top edge is not straight but slightly concave.

Your 3445 looks beautiful, I like this monochrome look: white gold, silver dial. Best, Emmanuel
