Had this red in mind as well but went for other colours - the dial demands bright straps imho

It looks much better with a colorful strap. Change of strap is for me also the chance to get it sized properly as standard straps are a bit too long for my wrist.

With some luck, Nils and I are hoping to make our 'twins' meet somewhere this year, and it would be amazing to extend this to you as well --- the ultimate "colorful 5088" Patek GTG! Keep enjoying Volker, and thanks again for sharing with my forum!

contrasts well with the dark dial ! Great combo ! Are you thinking of getting other straps for this beauty ?

Is it the royal blue ?

The yellow saffron (241) strap was one of my top choices too. But since I have it on my 5231G, I wanted to go for something different. Red always works well with black so I was just left with the choice of which kind of red (PP have quite a few in their offering). For members interested, ruby red is No. 240.
