His original post, featuring a striking Panerai, invites collectors to weigh in on the aesthetics and practicality of wearing a left-handed crown on the left wrist. This discussion explores how personal preference and brand identity intersect in the world of luxury tool watches.

Panerai (I respect the brand ethos for others) is not my kind of watch but I love this one as it is less obtrusive.
1. That’s a fine-looking PAM right there. Love the dial color. Share a lume shot when you can 2. PAMs are PAMs, especially the 44-47mm variety. Unless you are Mr Terminator and have a wrist which could swallow such a monstrosity, the destro will look just the same when worn on either wrist. So just enjoy it. I miss mine dearly, and thanks to the inspiration from you, Tony, Yacomino and several others, I may return soon
I had sold off my original couple of Pams, but was always enamored enough to want one available, for when the feeling hits…which is why I bought the 372 as my one and only. But then, as you point out, the influences of Sergio, Yacomino, Ahoi, Aperna and others really make you appreciate certain pieces on a deeper level. But it’s a slippery slope for me, so I need to curb my enthusiasm for a couple other references I really admire. The 605 is one of them. Nevertheless, below are a couple of 1075
I had a 359 that I pined over for years but ended up buying as an impulsive purchase at the wrong time. Got into a whole lot of financially trouble Bc of it, and that made me swear to never buy another PAM. I know realize that I won’t be able to keep my word for much longer. Would love to own a 233 one day
You gotta see in real though. And it’s not At all too big for your wrist .
if it wasn’t 47mm The usually darker dial colors of Pams definitely reinforces a macho, military aggressiveness. In the case of this 1075, I think it’s the contrast of those qualities in one watch that caught my attention.
