Logo vs pumpkin MM, a real dilemma!
On a lighter note, I suspect you did not use your super high tech lighting system for pictures back then! 🤣🤣🤣
I thought u like.a NM201a. Thanks John
the MM and the Demi, to keep company to my whitey and logo NM Couple of words about the logo. I've had both the tweener and now the NM and the difference between the two of them is...gargantuan. As THE model to have for any collector (the FIRST commercial Panerai) the 5218-201a NM is the one to go after. I.M.O.
One thing is liking, the other is collecting. The 5218-201a started a new era for Panerai. The FIRST commercial model produced. Now, that's a milestone for the company. The 202a, on the other hand it's simply (I.M.O.) a spectacularly handsome model that has everything in the right place but (and it's a big BUT for me), is simply one of the models produced in that period. Having to choose between the 2 (a man possesses only so many kidneys) I would buy the 201a every day of the week, and twice on
My favourite models (regardless of any considerations) are the 002 and 009 Pre-A. If they had been Pre-Vs, people would have killed to own one IMO of course
