This post captures the excitement and speculation surrounding new releases, particularly when initial information is fragmented or contradictory, highlighting the role of online communities in sharing and verifying details among enthusiasts.

The Panerai Radiomir PAM931 is a distinctive interpretation within the Radiomir collection, notable for its "California dial" configuration. This reference features a unique gradient brown dial, designed to evoke the appearance of a naturally aged patinated surface. It stands out from other California dial Radiomir models through this specific dial treatment, offering a different aesthetic compared to earlier iterations like the PAM249 or PAM424.
This Radiomir model is presented in a stainless steel case, measuring 47mm in diameter. It houses a hand-wound mechanical movement, providing a power reserve of three days. The watch is fitted with a sapphire crystal, contributing to its durability and legibility. The case design adheres to the classic Radiomir cushion shape, characterized by its wire lugs.
For collectors, the PAM931 appeals to those with an appreciation for the California dial and its historical connection to early watchmaking, particularly the "Error Proof Dial" concept. Its gradient brown dial offers a variant for collectors who already own other California dial Panerai references, providing a distinct visual character within the broader Radiomir lineup. This reference was introduced towards the end of 2020.
looks a bit small to me (45?) but nice anyway.
And limited to 1000 pieces.
But this picture was taken by someone at SIHH 2019:
Cause it's not yet on the Panerai website.
Maybe in person it will come off better.
I've felt...for quite sometime...that a Panerai limited edition should be no more than 200pcs. I know they'll sell all the pieces but not to grass root, Paneristi, I think
