John HS's captivating photo essay transports us to Bangkok, where his Panerai PAM 36, a watch steeped in Marina Militare heritage, becomes a silent companion amidst the city's vibrant energy. His visual narrative not only showcases the watch's enduring appeal but also invites us to reflect on the unique connection between a timepiece and the memories forged during travel.

A weekend or a long weekend, were enough for me to "regenerate". I used to fly to BKK once or twice a month, while living in Singapore. Golfing was great and rather cheap (coming from Singapore) loved the food and the little...razzamattaz, after a nice dinner with friends?
I am not really into PAM but this 36 did pique my interest. Having Marina Militare on the dial is quite special. Is 36 the first one in the Vendome Richemont era?
Enjoy the city on your vacation! I have been there quite a few times and think I actually recognize that corner!
Nothing more we can ask for.
..the first one being the PAM21 in 1997. There used to be a special section dedicated to the special editions, in the old Panerai's websites. Then they started to rewrite their own history and rearranging things a bit. The PAM36 reappeared in 1999 (the 1998 was erased). Now that "section" has been canceled altogether (I've just checked). History can be an uncomfortable baggage, in this day and age, I guess
Hope you’re having a great time in Bangkok Laurent
