Naples location marks 50th Boutique for Officine Panerai worldwide

In keeping with the design concept for Officine Panerai boutiques worldwide, the new Naples Panerai Boutique showcases a classic Italian-style atmosphere. The boutique's simple, clean interior is designed to enhance the store's bright features and nautical accents. In honor of the historic association between Officine Panerai and the Italian Navy, the shapes and materials used throughout all Panerai boutiques worldwide evoke the sea, including simple lines juxtaposed by elegant, wave-like structures. All materials, many of which have been imported from Italy, have been carefully selected and handcrafted by Italian artisans to reflect the Brand's Florentine roots as a watch and clock-making shop. Inside each Panerai boutique, a large wall clock highlights one of the most distinctive aspects of a Panerai timepiece: the "sandwich" structure of the dial. The legendary design element is comprised of two superimposed surfaces enclosing a layer of Super-LumiNova®, a unique feature that makes the timepiece's index markers and numerals more visible for marine divers in poorly lit conditions.
Panerai's 761 square foot Naples Boutique is situated on the east side of Waterside Shops. This new boutique offers a comfortable VIP seating area, as well as a selection of limited and special edition watches with a particular focus on the models fitted with movements that are exclusively manufactured at Officine Panerai facility in Neuchâtel, Switzerland. Panerai-Naples joins existing U.S. boutiques in Bal Harbour, Beverly Hills, Boca Raton, Dallas, La Jolla, Las Vegas, New York City and Palm Beach. The opening of this new Florida location represents an important stage in the development of the exclusive global distribution network for Panerai timepieces.

About Officine Panerai
Founded in Florence in 1860 as a workshop, shop and school of watch-making, for many decades Officine Panerai supplied the Italian Navy in general, and its specialist diving corps in particular, with precision instruments. The designs developed by Panerai in that time, including the Luminor and Radiomir, were covered by the Military Secrets Act for many years and were launched on the international market only after the brand was acquired by the Richemont Group in 1997. Today Officine Panerai develops and crafts its movements and watches at its Neuchâtel manufacture. The latter are a seamless melding of Italian design flair and history with Swiss horological expertise. Panerai watches are sold across the world through an exclusive network of distributors and Panerai boutiques.

4 in one state!...a lot of ballers hanging in South Beach and rocking a Panerai...
Guess they want to be the next Rolex. But I wouldn't want to see that.
It seems like brands are slowly opening up more Boutiques which gives them the ability to: a) control distribution better b) be in direct contact with their consumers c) increase brand awareness My thinking is b) to be the most important IMO. Cheers, Anthony
