Adman7 presents a detailed visual comparison of three tritium-dial Panerai Luminor models: the 201/A, PreA1, and 1B. His photo essay meticulously highlights the subtle yet significant differences in their dials, hands, cases, and lugs, offering invaluable insights for collectors keen on the nuances of vintage Panerai references.

The PAM00201 represents Panerai's Radiomir GMT collection in a 45mm platinum case configuration. This reference combines the GMT complication with an 8-day power reserve through the P.2002 movement, positioning it as a travel-focused timepiece within the Radiomir series.
The 45mm case is crafted from platinum and houses a black dial. The P.2002 movement provides GMT functionality alongside an extended 8-day power reserve, offering practical complications for frequent travelers or those requiring extended accuracy between windings.
This reference appeals to collectors seeking platinum case construction combined with multi-complication functionality. The GMT feature and extended power reserve make it suitable for those prioritizing practical complications, while the platinum case material positions it within the premium segment of the Radiomir collection.
Nice trio you've got there and very meaningful comparisons of their indices. It's all about the nuances, if you ask me. Thanks for sharing
Love all the pics. Well done and thanks for sharing.
Thank you for bringing us these! Ciao Stephen
a great reference post! J
Thanks for sharing, but they all seemed to have stickers on the back do you not wear them? Best regards, George
I'm apparently just a bit obsessive compulsive . . haha . . .and put the caseback stickers on all my watches to keep them from getting marked up if set down on something. Not so much an issue with strap watches but the bracelets . ..yikes!
