Here’s my 384, which is currently getting major orthopedic surgery 😔 By the way, I’m doing the exact opposite: looking to re-add a luminor to the collection. I had a 359 in the past, but thinking of a base model Awesome lume shot!
There are several other choices, and remember, whatever floats your boat is great. There is no right and wrong if it comes to personal taste. For example, 610 due to English writing is maybe not the most sought-after model, but i love it as it has special sentimental value, and only that matters to me. Folow your eye and heart my friend. There are many, many good choices on the Panerai universe! 232 and 610 610 232 Great 232, not the best calzone 🤣🤣
I might suggest you have a look at the Panerai 2 - Radiomir offerings. I also think that a 45mm one would fit your wrist just nicely. In other words, a Radiomir it's worth considering. IMO

Now, they are lots of options, the new 8 days, smaller size, but they don't come out cheap, or the phased out limited editions such as the 249, 448, 47mm, or there is the 424 (with date or without). You can find those quiet easely and well priced If you are on a budget. Personally, and I am not a budget, had the opportunity to get a 249 but went for the 424 as I prefer the dial, the golden hands and the tapered strap it comes with, and the in house mouvement that cam move hour hands independentl
