Had a chance to visit the relatively new boutique in Bond Street.

First off want to say a great thanks for showing me so many pieces
I have to say the level of friendliness and hospitality was exemplary

So here are a few if the pieces that caught my attention

I was surprised to see the Mare Nostrum
It was definitely a great looking piece

Then a watch thst surprised me a lot: first seeing the “flesh”

The finishing on the carbon case was amazing snd I especially like the way they have layered the carbon to give both a symmetry on the sides of the case and a circular finish to the bezel

Then some beautiful rose gold pieces
I really like the 42mm California dial 1940
I don’t get sleeplessness about mixing  DNA heritage lol 😝

If this comes in steel, I would seriously consider it

Finally the other rose gold but with a delicious dial

This combination works really well.

Best
Imran

Thank you for the photos Imran

I think the 42mm rose gold 1940 California looks great on your wrist even though I do agree that the steel model would be an attractive proposition. I am not a Panerai fan but I too would be seduced by a steel 42mm 1940 California. Something about that California dial.

Truth be told.....

I've never been in a Panerai boutique, where the staff was less than exemplary, but I know what you mean. Being a purist is an aberration and as such, we should be ignored..systematically LOL I find the 42mm Red Gold Cali, rather nice. The dial has been preserved in it's...arrogant simplicity...which is rather important. I'm sure they'll make a SS one, eventually. Thanks for your report

Yum!

The california dial in 42mm, looks super on your wrist. I recently purchased the PAM 682 submersible, also a 42mm, and am loving it. The gold version 684 (I believe) was also a stunner.

The Mare Nostrum

I wish I'd bought it ten years ago, "when it was so overpriced" chuckle... I love that watch. Thanks.

Hello Imran, thanks for sharing this great pictures!

Didn’t you take a Mare Nostrum wrist shot? The Cali looks great on you by the way! Happy Sunday! René

42mm California dial in steel will be awesome. I can see that coming in the future.

Mare Nostrum looks very good, too. Also 42mm, right?
