out for a run and my niece said āI hope you treat yourself to gifts like theseā to which I responded ādonāt worry I have five Omegasā and then she said āso you collect them?ā āI donāt think of five as a collectionā āso then what makes a collection? she said as she mercilessly flogged me up the last viciously steep hillā¦āsixā I replied as I collapsed in a sorry heap. We both laughed.
Iāve worked very hard to be in a position where I can do some nice things for my nieces and nephews as I donāt have kids of my own. Things that are lovely that they either canāt afford or would never spend on themselves make the best gifts. š
My sister and I were separated for reasons beyond our control. I am utterly amazed at what she has achieved especially and most importantly with her exceptional children. Itās great that we both made it and can enjoy this time together.
Iām sending the rest of the boxes, bracelets etc back to Denmark vis FedEx as we were their first stop in the US.
