I don’t like either as far as the shade of green goes. So discounting the color yes they are equals. Actually even though Rolex makes superb movements Omega has the drop on them. Outclasses Rolex in a variety of areas (magnetism, Daniels and silicon materials) so I’d say at least (in this comparison) equals although it wouldn’t have been as close for me with the blue dial…
each has a strong following.
Between these two, here is what I chose:
The Omega looks jarring next to the Rolex. I'm sure both are fine watches. But somehow the Rolex looks so much softer and organic. The Rolex is also thinner and more elegant.
