VintageAlex (aka AlexKontiki) shares a deeply personal moment of horological temptation, presenting a vintage Omega that instantly captured his heart. His post beautifully articulates the emotional pull a significant timepiece can exert, even prompting a humorous internal debate about family finances versus collecting passion. This article explores the initial allure and subsequent critical examination of a potentially significant acquisition.

I felt in love, again. This morning at 6 am my WhatsApp was ringing and what I found in that messages was this:

A dear friend sent to me this images offering this marvelous watch, now I’m trying to calm down and thinking that my kids need to know that life is rough and be strong and wait a little bit for clothing, shoes and fight for scholarships.

Thanks, God for the wisdom you gave to me. Amen 🙏🏻

Have a great day full of wisdom.

You should seek professional help. Preferably from a professional who accepts chronographs as payment !
