JFT seeks community expertise on a vintage Omega with a strikingly pristine black dial, questioning its authenticity. His post highlights a common dilemma for collectors: discerning original condition from expert refinishing, especially when a watch appears 'too good to be true.' This discussion provides valuable insights into evaluating vintage Omega dials and market pricing.

Like De Niro says:"When there is a doubt, then there is no doubt."
And not sure about the lume tho.... Cuz it's stated no "T" on the bottom to indicate that it's not having lume on the dial (eventhough I'm not sure it's original tho haha)
There should have been radium lume but it is gone, so perhaps it is the work of swiss time services or omega bienne who refinished it. But who ever did it, did a brilliant job
I.e. don't intend to sell it and don't care about the resale value, then go where your heart takes you. It is certainly very nice looking
