Interesting to know what the rationale and decision making process at Omega was for the latest Aqua Terra pricing strategy. It is a cool piece but will be interesting to follow how it pans out. Non limited is smart as there will be less excess supply and information on production figures I suppose..

Interesting to know what the rationale and decision making process at Omega was for the latest Aqua Terra pricing strategy. It is a cool piece but will be interesting to follow how it pans out. Non limited is smart as there will be less excess supply and information on production figures I suppose... 55 grams is light by modern standards so thought I’d take my 70 year old Omega to the scale... 40 grams including a rather thick and heavy leather strap! Now that is ultra light! Yes not a fair comparison but fun exercise nevertheless.

They sure knew how to make quality pieces in 1949... runs perfectly well even now:

choices.... perhaps the idea is to create a reference that only will be sold in very very limited numbers... one in each color perhaps... like a marketing ploy
