As with most new watches, the new Speedmaster Chronoscope received mixed reviews.

I feel this watch has more Pros than Cons.

Pros:
-Manual new movement, 60Hr PR, with hacking seconds and quick Hour adjustments
-comfortable new bracelet with adjustable 2.3mm
-multi scale functions, critics says we seldom use the functions but do you really use all other watches functions?
-43mm but thinner at 12.8mm, wears small

Cons:
None to me yet, because I just bought it. Once I decided to buy a watch, it means I accepted it. It is like our children, they are not perfect but we still love them.

This is the first time I had issues choosing the different models of a new release model. Initially I chose the Blue dial, as it looks good in the stock photos and some reviews. Blue is always a popular go to choice.

The silver dial with blue prints are also stunning like the looks of Snoopy 3.

However both dial options has similar inner circle prints which I find a little less contrast and harder to read.

Since I have both Masterchrono in Blue and Snoopy 3, I think the Panda dial is the best with most details.

The sub dials has White and Red hands and the central second hands is special with candy stick pattern. The inner scale also printed Red for easier distinction.

Therefore, in keeping up with no redundancy collection theme, here it is, my new Speedmaster Chronoscope Panda.

Out of all the iterations of this model, I would have chosen this panda configuration too. I forget: is the bezel ceramic with liquid metal? Wear it in good health

Only the Bronze Gold version has ceramic bezel. The other SS models all has aluminum bezel.

All are nice. I like the functionality of the chronoscope. One can time the distance of a thunderstorm from the flash and thunderclap time differences. Very useful feature when in the forest or hiking.
