The white subs were actually attracted me to the watch when it was first introduced. It’s the perfect contrast in my opinion 👍
unlike the Daytona in which the sub registers at 9 and 3 are not balanced. They are slightly raised above the 9 and 3 hour markers. I still prefer it over the Speedmaster overall, but prefer the balance of the Zenith Daytonas which are perfectly centered with the two markers on the dial. So are the 4 digit reference Daytonas. I hope I’m getting my point across clearly 🤣
It’s also the same with Patek, ALS chronographs and many others. Patek and ALS have what I call drooping sub registers.
