Yes, the links are somewhat 'free-flowing' but note the original bracelet is extremely long, and links are narrow. This is just physics. Of course a short oyster will be tighter. The bracelet end pieces are much better than the previous ones are are really giving a square look to the watch. As for the watch itself, it is a beauty and legibility is *cough* even better than on the historic Speedy
And probably youâre right on the âbetter than the previous oneâ, but to me no matter how we slice it, or attempt to unsee it, itâs not on par with what it should be. Itâs definitely flimsy and I seriously doubt, that this bracelet will last three decades with regular use, regardless of sizing! Have a great weekend!đ„
Looking at the pictures, it seems a disproportionate in relation to the 42mm case size.
But, have kind of lost interest in it. I abhor the bracelet. I donât like it from any angle, but, on my wrists, it looks dainty as it tapersâŠwhich makes it an ainty đ See what I did there? đ But, seriously, I hate these newer bracelets, had it on my Speedmaster and could not get it off fast enough. I prefer the good old fashioned moon watch, and other than a couple of variations, they are not for moi.
but wouldnât this piece look badass on a white rubber Omega strap?
For some reason I never caught the bug, but two models are interesting. I had really high hope for this one, but now itâs not a must have. And yes, the old style bracelets are superior in my books as wellâŠđ„
