Dr No, a respected voice in the WatchProSite community, shares his latest acquisition: a circa 1951 Omega reference 2657, powered by a Caliber 342 bumper movement. His initial impressions highlight its remarkable accuracy and the allure of its rose gold and black dial combination. This post not only showcases a beautiful vintage Omega but also sparks a community-wide 'Speedy Tuesday' discussion, inviting fellow collectors to share their wristwear.

...the dials were clean and the movements were simple : )
. . . as the quick 'n dirty doesn't do the dial justice. Rose gold and black is my favorite combo . . . when I saw this one, it took all of two seconds to come to a decision. Art
...which I received as a present from my uncle who got it in South America in the '60s. My watchmaker tells me the movement is Omega but he forgot to take photos when he opened it up for cleaning. I may try that myself if it's a snap-on back.
Pure horological class!! Enjoy!!
Enjoying a vintage Tuesday !
