In this insightful post, holdemchamp1225 provides a detailed comparison of the Omega Speedmaster in Sedna Gold, contrasting its distinct rose/red hue against the Moonshine Gold and Canopus Gold variants. His hands-on observations offer valuable perspective on how different gold alloys impact the overall aesthetic and wearability of this iconic timepiece, helping collectors discern their preferences for full-gold bracelets versus strap options.

But to me the optimal Moonwatch is in stainless steel with black dial - I might be a bit on the conservative side there!
But I would happily add the Sedna Gold version and the Canopus.

The one thing I like a lot is the black dial and how it contrasts with the RG.
. . . on the original rubberized racing strap. That strap - which I don't believe is available from Omega any longer - was tailored to an 18 mm deployant clasp, so it wouldn't fit Sedna's deployant. But if those straps were still available, and a deployant could be had to fit, that's the set-up I'd be prepared to drop a bundle on. π€©
