Last evening I had the pleasure of being invited by local Omega Boutique to a wonderful night celebrating the 50th Anniversary of First Moon Landing and introducing the new watches recently launched to commemorate this most important event for Humankind! We enjoyed a wonderful gathering with Omega representatives and fellow collectors and Speedmaster fans!

During this wonderful event I had the pleasure and unique opportunity of examining together the original BA145.022 from 1969 and the brand new Moonshine version launched this year to conmemorate that one small step for a man, one giant leap for Mankind!

The original gold Speedy worn with a simple leather straps instead of the original gold bracelet belonged to a lucky private collector.

I felt privileged to be able to examine both superb and historical Omega Speedmasters together!!

Of course I had a Speedmaster on my wrist!...

Well... actually one on each wrist! Lol!

Ref 2998 from 1962 (FAP)

I wish to thank Omega for this most enjoyable night!
Cheers! Abel

Ha ha ha!! Yes, the Fisher Space pen! I got two or three of them in my collection! One I bought as souvenir during my visit to NASA at Cape...

... Kennedy. These little pens really write well, in any position and though I never tried, its maker says it can write even underwater! I was promised one from Omega. I hope it will arrive in the next days. You see ... things happen in small steps here! Lol!! I finally got my little Astronaut pin yesterday night! I consider it some kind of condecoration!! Lol! Thank you my dear friend! Abel
