Congrats. Was it difficult to find?
A very uncommon honeymoon you would have. Your new speedy and first one, is calling that i sit in the same boat. Being openly a Omega fan without a speedy. Albeit i am just collecting in my first years, i have a good reason. Another good reason, i like a speedy with a very high demand, prices sky high, AD’s with sold out stock. The new snoopy anniversary. So it go to take years to get that special edition. Maybe a forgotten nsa nasa which pop up after decades like your speedy. We’ll see. I want
I’ve never seen this one in pictures. Was it a limited edition and/or region-specific release? Great choice either way 👍🏼
To be honest I’ve not been looking it just popped up
Not limited and it was also released with a red dial
This watch (yellow dial/red hand) and the accompanying red dial/yellow hand version were released to commemorate Michael Schumacher signing with Scuderia Ferrari. There were of course many Schumacher speedmasters after, but this and the red started it. Other variants, such as the blue dialed CART version(back when CART and Indycar had their divorce) followed, but of all the various “racing” iterations, these are my favorite. Thanks, Brian
