I just spent my first Speedy Tuesday a few days ago and glad that itβs with a special one that I have been waiting for awhile. Loves everything about the Apollo 8, for a 44.25mm case size, it wears very well and feels very balanced. The weight is distributed nicely across the case and the thickness

Could be my next watch
if you intend to add a Speedy
The watch as a whole is really quite a cool piece. And thatβs the main selling point for me π
and one of my favorite watches for everyday usage due to the ceramic case. The dial finishing and comfort is also an added bonus. It normally comes with a ceramic tang buckle but you might want to consider adding the deployant buckle in ceramic and titanium along with the OEM strap which has the racing theme like the standard strap. I just feel it wears better, is also more balance, and more practical for everyday use.
It is also my favourite watch of late and not to be pedantic but those are close up pictures of the near side the far side is on the back of the watch. Otherwise I agree with all you say about this great watch and easily the best of the Dark Side of the Moon watches due mainly to the slimness due to the 1869 movement and the incredible visual both dial and back side of the watch give. It also wears smaller then the size suggests and is also light to whilst being so scratch resistant so continues
This is definitely IMO one of the nicest sports chronograph I have tried so far. I will personally place it up there with the stainless steel ceramic Daytona and the YG or WG Ceramic Daytona in terms of wrist presence and comfort. Only downside is although it wears small for its size, I would prefer it to be slightly smaller at 42mm for even better fit
