Yes,it was a very long wait but now I am happy to have this watch in my collection.

And I must say that it wears very comfortably on my wrist ; much more so than a standard Speedmaster.

The reduced size and the very flexible and light bracelet make for a new wearing experience.

Even the bit of faux-lumina is well chosen and not disturbing.

The star of the show is however the cal. 321.

The first time ever (and perhaps the last time) that a brand went to the efforts to recreate an emblematic movement from the past.

And it is just gorgeous!

These movements are produced in a separate workshop with a completely different finishing level than a standard Omega.

The movements are assembled twice and carefully regulated by hand .

Omega claims an accurary range of -1 to + 11 sec/day : mine is at +1 sec/day !!

This is a kind of intellectual watch : most people will see "just" a Speedmaster ,but the wearer knows that it has a heart of gold!
