I love it as much today as I did when I had it.
It spends a lot of time on my wrist.
I just can’t go anywhere near water with it.
It’s been back to Omega after letting in water. A first for me in over 35 years of watch collecting.
Anyway all is good now and I’ve just put a new strap on it.
Have a great weekend all.

Cool watch! Disappointing to hear about the water

That's also never happened to me--and I do my best not to be *too* careful with my watches! Any idea what went wrong?

I couldn't believe it. All I did was put my arm quickly into my koi pond.

And that was it. Filled up with water. Having been swimming in a Patek complication I was a bit disappointed to say the least. To be fair though Omega were very good and sorted it for me with a full service. I have heard this happening to a few owners of this watch. So enjoy it away from water these days. I’m a bit worried having a few beers in it now 😜. Anyway sorted and just love this dial. M.

Interesting.

I have seen family members (will not name and shame them here) snorkeling with a Speedy Pro, and no problems there. But now I have to ask: what Patek compilation have you swam in??? I said that I try not to baby my watches, but I have to admit that I have not once considered taking my 5110 for a swim.
