About the Omega Ref. Paris2024

This special edition Seamaster Diver 300M commemorates the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, distinguishing itself within the broader Seamaster collection through its specific thematic design elements. It represents a contemporary iteration of Omega's long-standing sports watch lineage, incorporating modern materials and manufacturing techniques while retaining the core aesthetic of the Diver 300M series. The reference is part of a series of watches released in anticipation of the upcoming Olympic event.

The watch features a stainless steel case with a 42mm diameter, housing a self-winding co-axial master chronometer movement. The movement provides a substantial power reserve and is visible through a sapphire crystal caseback. The dial is protected by a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides, ensuring clarity and durability. Water resistance is rated to 300 meters, consistent with the model's diving watch designation.

This reference appeals to collectors interested in Olympic-themed timepieces and those who appreciate special editions within established model lines. Its specific design cues, including a white ceramic dial with laser-engraved waves and a unique bezel, set it apart from standard production models. The watch is presented on a stainless steel bracelet, offering versatility and a robust wrist presence.

Not sure why the Ag925 is necessary in the center of the dial?

Good idea to opt for an unlimited edition.

No offence to owners of the steel version, but this one looks very right to me. It has got a lovely vintage feel, with modern aspects at the same time. Very nice!

This is truly a nice looking watch. Very retro and modern in one piece. I hope my AD has one when I go to visit next. I would love to see it in the metal.

. . . when the second interpretation is more personally compelling than the first. Thanks for sharing, Charlie. Art
