I love the Moon Phase! Can’t say that I actually “use” it, but I like the way a moon phase balances a dial. It also makes me think about time differently. There is more to time than Hour and Minute hands. The Moon Phase on a watch speaks to a Universe of which we are all a part of. The Moon Phase is beautiful. Patek Philippe 1526 from 1944. My favorite Moon Phase. Cortebert “Sport”from the 1950’s (I think). Patek Philippe 3970j Patek Philippe 3940 Patek Philippe 5004j

For me, The interaction with the watch is a big part of the fun of owning such a watch. My favorite pieces are all manually -wound .

I just rotate it enough so that I can see most of the moon!

......If Omega stopped producing all those JB007 Seamaster variants, first monkey in space Speedmaster etc... and concentrated on making a nice perpetual/complication dress watch collection that is not with that DeVille 1980's styling and with some decent water resistance?
