. . . productive.

Sometime in January an 1894 came up on eBay.  Our Count de Monet bought one the previous year on my recommendation, and then Esharp followed suit, so when a reasonably priced blue enamel 1894 sourced in Japan popped up, I just had to have it.

Finally got around to having it serviced several weeks ago, and as yet still unworn on my wrist.  I think I'll break in the New Year with the 1894 ticking away the seconds.

Bought an Ed White in March . . .

. . . that hasn't been delivered yet.  I was told 'next year', so as of tomorrow I'll be waiting by the phone.

A few months later, I went with a friend to an AD to help him negotiate an Omega AT.  I walked out with a GS.

Then the vintages came back into focus.  First the ref 2608 sourced in Venezuela . . .

. . . then the ref 2657 found in New York . . .

. . . an amazing ref 2493 languishing in Houston . . .

. . . and finally a jumbo ref 2272 that not coincidentally also hailed from Venezuela.

All have been serviced save the ref 2493 which is slated for my local watchmaker's attention once he's finished with two ongoing projects.

So how was your year?  Time for 'show and tell'!

That 1894 is gorgeous!

My 2021 was not as adventurous as yours in terms of watches. First up in July, this shows-up at the boutique: A few days later, I was gifted this cool T-shirt: Then, early October brings this surprise: Followed by this titanium IWC at the end of October: Happy New Year! ๐Ÿฅ‚
