Gerard (jlux) presents an in-depth look at the Nomos Club Worldtimer 'Dune' edition, a timepiece he considers one of the year's standout releases. His detailed review highlights key design choices and technical advancements that make this new reference particularly compelling for collectors. Gerard's insights into its wearability and integrated worldtimer function offer valuable perspective for those considering Nomos's latest innovation.

For me one of the best new releases from this year, especially as it is coming from one of my favorite brands,Nomos!
There are two regular models and 6 limited (each 175 pieces)  colourful dial variants of which mine is called "Dune".

These come as a standard on the Nomos Club steel bracelet of which I am however not so much of a fan.
I had the watch therefore changed immediately onto the cool dark grey textile strap from Nomos which is IMO a much better fit for this kind of watch.

The colour scheme of this dial is supposed to be inspired by desert "Dune" landscapes.
The worldtime function is working perfectly and the pusher operates with a real premium feel.

Nomos for sure is a master when it comes to combine unusual colours with taste.

One of the great advantages of this watch is the use of a new movement with an integrated worldtimer function which allows a case thickness of just below 10mm !!
The other big advantage vs previous Club models is the reduced lug-to-lug dimension : with "only" 48 mm it becomes wearable for many more wrist sizes.
And this eliminates also the (in my eyes not so attractive) gap between the case body and the strap which is apparent on all other Club models.

The movement is attractively finished in typical Nomos style and very well regulated !!

Finally a wrist shot on my 17cm wrist.
As with most Nomos watches this 40mm watch wears on the larger side but mostly because of the wide dial opening.

Thanks for looking,
Gerard

A really nice addition it is, too! Nice development of the Zürich model and as you say, they make interesting color combinations work. Enjoy wearing it 👋🏻

Looks awesome! We could see how you were intrigued by your previous post, perhaps a preview that this may come to you some time soon! 😉 Masterful color and style is a perfect description of this one. It’s nice they decided to reduce the lug span, as this has always been a limiting factor for my wrist size, so indeed, as per the pics, this one is more wearable. The textile strap is a superb choice. It reminds me of the OEM textile strap from GO on the SeaQ. It looks very attractive and wears comf
