In a luxury watch market often swayed by hype and speculation, artconcept00746 challenges the prevailing valuation of the Patek Philippe Nautilus. By curating a hypothetical multi-watch collection for the price of a single steel Nautilus, artconcept00746 prompts readers to reconsider what true horological value and diversity can look like within a fixed budget. This thought experiment encourages a deeper appreciation for haute horlogerie beyond current market trends.

This one: Or this series: Or this series: Or this duo: Or these two: Which are much more my interest and taste...
I love your list and yes they are a lot more “horlogerie@ than 1 5711/1A But I don’t think we’re at the top. Like it or hate it but it’s the most legendary watch on the market, or at least that’s what a lot of new collectors think If people pay 200-300-400 k for a mediocre vintage Paul Newman Daytona… we’ll I prefer a 5711 ALWAYS above the even much more hyped Paul newman
...that doesn't 'get' the Nautilus. It's an OK watch at retail, but I prefer the Aquanaut in any case. I think it's all hype driven by speculators. If someone offered to buy one for me, I would politely suggest other options...
This would be great, RD excalibur tourbillon skeletonized in blue. 42 so not a building on my wrist.
I would also go for a grand complication like a perpetual calendar
Lange 1815 chronograph - 45k~ Vacheron Overseas 3rd gen - 25k~ Rolex 5513 gilt - 25k~ I would hope I could get MB&F LM (whichever) for the remaining 50k
