Here is my latest watch ... a Movado Calendomatic.

It is the first triple date watch with automatic caliber.

The nice case of 35 millimeters :

The two pushers to set the date :

The luminous dial with its four hands :

"Fab suisse" for French Model.

Red hand for central small second and yellow hand for the date... A small nice touch of color !

The caliber is automatic with bumper system (ref 225M) :

On my wrist, I love it !

Nice, very nice catch. Lovely dial and the lugs are gorgeous. The color matching: Red seconds, yellow date and the blue numbers, everything blends so well. Enjoy the pair, you deserve, Cheers, Nilo

But this Calendomatic has something really charming thanks to its dial and its hands. Fx

I have only ever seen them in gold. I have also been lucky enough to own 1 of the earlier handwind triple calendars, but a much plainer case. Your model has particularly nice decorative lugs and looks to be in mint condition so congratulations in finding an untouched one. I understand that Mussolini presented a handwind one one to Churchill in 1945 at the end of the war. Whether this is correct or not i dont know, but its a good story and a great watch. I dont know if there is a big difference b
