Do you guys know whether Montblanc services those older Minervas? There was, perhaps still is, exactly same one to grab for pennies but I'm already bit discouraged because my last purchase was problematic in regards to servicing...
There are quite some independent watch makers / specialists, who can take on the task, though. Was your last problem with a Minerva watch?
I had problem with a GP, which is exponentially more present... I was mainly curious whether MB does service those watches at all. In case of ordering new parts etc independent watchmakers won't help much I'm afraid.
The story begins about 3 months ago, when I had to service my newly purchased GP Richeville. Since I live in a small, low income city most 'watchmakers' here do mostly battery/glass change. There's perhaps only three that repair mechanical watches. Because of other people's experience I chose one to trust with servicing. Merely couple days ago I called the guy and asked about the matter. Turns out one wheel needed to be sourced because it was damaged (later on he admitted it was his fault while
