This Star Legacy Metamorphosis is not part of the 2022 collection, but I had the pleasure to see it in real, at Watches and Wonders.

The originality of this watch is that it has two dials, one hidden under the other, which you can change through the trigger.

The watch with its 2 faces:

Here is the video of the first version, unveiled in 2010, if my memory serves me well, to better explain it to you.

And now, the promised photos.

This watch is much better in real. But two things... First it is a huge watch, in diameter ( around 50 mm ! ) and in height. Second, which is a consequence of the first point, the weight... It is really heavy.

As the lugs are short, I could wear it, but it is damn thick and heavy.  Still, a captivating watch, offering a very high level of finishing, beautifully executed, and with a very original concept.

Limited to 8 pieces.

Best,

Nicolas

Beautful very cleverly executed but its shame they didn't make this into a pocket watch - it may have been more suitable & wearable.

THAT would be a great idea. I think the first version was smaller, circa 47 mm, which would be a good idea, too.

Was so impressed when I first saw this…

Had never seen a mechanism like it before. Did not know about the size, that’s a bit of a shame but some sacrifices must be made for such a unique function!

It is such a breathtaking watch, at the price of a Nautilus on the parallel market. For me, no doubt, we have pure horology and bienfacture, here.
