Foversta provides an early look at Montblanc's 2014 SIHH novelties, showcasing three distinct new watches that underscore the brand's strategic pillars. This preview offers valuable insights into Montblanc's direction, from accessible complications to high-end horology, setting the stage for their presence at the prestigious Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie.

Actually, if I'm not wrong, the Villeret ExoTourbillon Rattrapante was unveiled at Watches & Wonders in Hong Kong.

But two other watches will be seen for the first time at the SIHH. These three watches are:

- the Montblanc Star Twin Moonphase

- the Montblanc TimeWalker Extreme Chronograph DLC

- the Montblanc Villeret ExoTourbillon Rattrapante

NOVELTY 2014: Montblanc Star Twin Moonphase

The Montblanc Star Twin Moonphase is another proof of the new ambition for the Star collection. The watches uses a Dubois-Depraz module in order to propose a quite original dial lay-out and a moonphase display which includes an indicator for both hemispheres. Its diameter is 42mm and its thickness 12,17mm:

NOVELTY 2014: Timewalker Extreme Chronograph DLC

The Timewalker Extreme Chronograph DLC is a nice evolution of the Timewalker Chronograph. It features a titanium 43 mm case and is powered by the 4810/507 movement. Its power reserve is 42 hours with a 4hz frequency. It is an interesting use of black DLC to give a very contemporary look at a chronograph which features a classic dial lay-out.

Last watch, the Villeret ExoTourbillon Rattrapante, belongs to another category, the segment of high-end watches.

This large (47mm) watch features the addition of the rattrapante function.

The watch is easily recognizable when compared to the first ExoTourbillon Rattrapante thanks to its Tourbillon bridge shape:

Star - TimeWalker - Villeret... 3 pillars of the Montblanc strategy along with the Rieussec collection. Anf of course, I don't forget the upcoming Heritage collection!

As you can imagine, I can't wait to discover them in the metal!

The third is not the TimeWalker Extreme, is it? ...

Looks rather like a standard 7750 chronograph. Marcus

Notice the Dial to the TimeWalker Extreme Chronograph

Notice how there are five different guilloche patterns on the dial of the TimeWalker Extreme Chronograph DLC. That's amazing, especially for a sports chronograph.

I like all three ...

... most interesting for me personally is the TW Extreme chronograph. Marcus
