(Apologies for the blunt response)
because, contrary to the time where Breguet has reissued the Type XX, nowadays there are options from Sellita and La Joux Perret to have a 15min counter! They have chosen to use the standard 30min option instead. I own the Breguet Type XX, be assured that the minute counter is very difficult to read, as every index counts for 2min… and here it is the same… (For me it is not a problem, as I rarely use the Chrono anyway. AND visually I prefer this layout) 😂
My thoughts are bad. Honestly said, ugly MT. I dislike the dial color, bad dial design. The pushers are boring. Asking myself, this is what people wants? A boring peace. Ok, every brand can make a mistake. The same with cars, when i see many mistakes around me, not counting the Porsche 911 of course and many good designed Audi. MT do better watches, so Tissot would be always shadowing.
They do 2 versions, a black and a brown version. A couple of months ago I bought another Type 20 iteration - the reissue of Airain. I like the level of refinement here…
Like Nico stated: Are you listening Breguet???
The preference for high polish invites questions. Omega just did it with its Speedmaster 57. That's a fine watch but the flat link bracelet is far too shiny (for my liking). Perhaps these companies think buyers equate shininess with luxury, and they want their watches to look a tad luxurious. That takes them away from the first thing that makes them attractive - their design and original purpose, neither of which had much to do with luxury for luxury's sake.
