Clueless_Collector's post highlights the joy of actively engaging with a watch collection, specifically featuring the Patek Philippe Ref. 5231J. His commitment to rotating and wearing his timepieces, rather than simply storing them, sparks a broader discussion on watch care, the philosophy of collecting, and even the fascinating mathematics behind collection permutations. This article delves into the community's diverse perspectives on enjoying luxury watches daily.

Thanks to our esteemed math professor FabR, who helped to calculate the numbers.

Also to Nico for suggesting to wear my precious 5231J more often so here it is this week. I make it a point to wear and rotate all my watches, or at least wind them once or twice every month.

I’m super happy with my collecting journey and no, I won’t bored members here with more of such posts.

Have a great week ahead!

PS: we know storing watches need to be in low humidity, no sunlight etc, but what is the recommended temperature range?

The 5170G you have is a very attractive option and many times I have cross that thought to fund for one. Thanks Gerard!

Another stunning ensemble! Please keep them coming! Have you got a watch targeted for each day in mind?

I wore the Skydweller yesterday, it’ll depend on weather this week and my feelings, not much rules.

The probability of me getting the same set of 7 is almost zero so I stop thinking. Also, I heard they stop stamping on the 5738R so mine could be the last. That makes it definitely less than 170 🤫😅
