My dear friend/colleague and I compared watches.
I’m wearing my danish Ole Mathiesen (an AD for PP, Lange, Breguet etc. in Copenhagen) in 40 mm and quartz movement. It is a very pretty and easy watch to wear which I like a lot.

My friend wears his Lang & Heyne Friedrich August in 42 mm.

Have a good weekend. Enjoy!

but your quartz watch looks terribly elegant and objectively is a steal for the price difference. And I actually prefer the dial colour on your watch as it gives the watch a vintage feel.

...I have a very classic-looking quartz watch that my wife gave to me (Brooks Brothers). Because of that it is more dear to me than my Rolex...

The L&H is fantastic craftmanship. They usually name their watches after Kings who ruled in the Dresden area, this is no exception. My Ole Mathiesen surely punches above its weight. It is a good looking watch. Classic design and roman numerals which I like. Enjoy!

Sometime it’s not the prize but the history that matters. Enjoy!

40 mm, 10 mm height with quartz movement. Ole Mathiesen focuses on the so called “danish design principles” where simplicity and functinality is paramount. Ole Mathiesen had been around for more than 100 years and is appointed to the Royal danish Crown - Why I put it beside the Lang & Heyne because of the royal connection. Enjoy!
